The Complete Miniature Schnauzer, Anne Paramoure Eskrigge, Howell Book House, 1975 This is the Miniature Schnauzer “bible” which was first published in 1935.

The New Miniature Schnauzer, The Breed Since Ch. Dorem Display, Dan Kiedrowski, Howell Book House, 1997. This covers the breed since the 50’s and is written by the editor of the “Schnauzer Shorts” and “Terrier Type” magazines.

MiniatureSchnauzers Today, Peter Newman, Howell Book House, 1997.   Peter Newman has had Miniature Schnauzers for over 40 years in England and this book has the English perspective.  Good all-round information with good grooming instructions for pet or showing.

The World of Schnauzers - Standard, Giant, Miniature, by Johan Gallant, Alpine Publications, 1996.  This is an excellent book, especially on the history of the schnauzers.

The Book of the Miniature Schnauzer, Anna Katherine Nicholas, T.F.H. Publications, Inc. Ltd., 1986. This book covers the breed in the U.S., and has many show pictures (some color) of Miniature Schnauzers.
